
THE TYE PROGRAM
TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is a global program dedicated to fostering future generations of industry leaders by teaching high school students the rewards and challenges of becoming an entrepreneur. TYE is an “Entrepreneurship Academy,” where student teams utilize modern skills and tools to build a concept using customer feedback, iteration, and lightweight business models.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Any 9th -12th grade student interested in entrepreneurship, STEM, or business may apply to participate!
EACH STUDENT
PARTICIPANT HAS
THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Build a real startup with a team
- Participate in a rigorous business curriculum
- Develop confidence and leadership skills
- Learn directly from startup founders and industry experts
- Collaborate with other students passionate about STEM
- Connect with a dedicated mentor who will coach their team
- Participate in Global workshops
- Compete for cash prizes or seed funding at the TYE Global Competition
TYE COMMUNITY
The TYE Program engages an entire community of volunteers – Parents, Educators, Mentors, Inspirational speakers, Serial entrepreneurs, Student Alumni and Partners. The community has one goal, which is to educate and prepare our students to become the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders.

IMPACT
TYE has been preparing the next generation of leaders for over 15 years. The program has impacted over 10,500 high school children, including many from under-represented and disadvantaged backgrounds, since its inception in Boston in 2005. It provides a stepping stone for students to develop a growth mindset and experience the startup world.
